This is not your grandmother’s Wet Tunes (but check out my cute 96-year-old grandmother with her Wet Tunes … she still uses it)!!!
Recently I was asked to review a product on my blog. I never envisioned this space for that purpose, but when I looked into the product it turned out it was something I would be interested in anyway, so I happily agreed to give it a try.
SpeakStick is a compact Bluetooth shower speaker that comes in a variety of colors (I got hot pink!). After I had turned it on, it was recognized by my iPhone (make sure you have Bluetooth “ON” in your iPhone settings). It was ready to go in seconds.
The SpeakStick featured controls for powering on and off, volume and track skipping. In the past, I would leave my phone on the vanity and have my music playing in the background of the shower. With the SpeakStick, I have the music play directly in the shower and can hear the music clearly, sing along and skips songs if the mood isn’t right (because sometimes, John Denver is not the best shower music).
There is even a button that allows you to take calls in the shower (admittedly, I haven’t tried that yet – but good to know it’s an option). A large suction cup allows you to affix the device to your shower wall and hold the speaker in-place though I chose to keep it on the edge of the tub. The speaker is waterproof, rechargeable and portable. And, it features a Lifetime Guarantee.
For the price, quality and easy-of-use, I give this product an enthusiastic, Fonzie-style “thumbs up.” And, it’s a good, reasonably-price holiday gift for grab bags, friends, college students or anyone who likes to sing in the shower! Come on, you know you do it too!!
I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Turns out, it was a win-win and music to my ears! Check them out: speakstick.net.
