Have you ever felt like everything is pulling you in a million different directions and the only thing you want to do is concentrate on one thing that gives you solace and peace like when you can write a blog post that is something you want to express in words because it makes you feel good and like you are able to focus on something other than being CEO of the household and packing lunches and doing homework and being a boo-boo fixer and sorting laundry and writing bills and heading up the “where are my toys” search team and shuffling here, there and everywhere as a personal chauffeur and wondering what everyone will eat for dinner and making sure your calendar is up-to-date so you won’t bring your son to a birthday party the day after the actual birthday party and trying to find matching socks and explaining to children why they need to brush their teeth and getting ready for work and feeling guilty about working and trying to figure out when you will have time to color your hair so you don’t look like a skunk and trying (again) to start an exercise routine.
Yeah, me too.
We now return to our regularly scheduled life. The blog can wait a few more days…my babies need me.
(and I wouldn’t have it any other way)
